Great Llama Race
Every October since it began in 2014, Smoky Mountain Llama Treks has been honored to be included in the Great Llama Race.
The community event is held at Knoxville’s World’s Fair Park and benefits several local organizations including Casa de Sara, a 501c3 whose mission is providing opportunities for impoverished and at-risk children and families through education, nutrition, healthcare, and family support.
In addition, it generates both awareness and funding for the Southeast Llama Rescue, the 501C3 that coordinates all the llamas for the event.
Finally, the Great Llama Race gives a portion of the proceeds to the local schools.
If you’re planning to be in Knoxville come October, you should join us at the Great Llama Race! Just another way we’re creating fantastic Smoky Mountain Memories!
